Mountain Counselling and Sexology has been established to address the unique needs of the LGBTQIA+ community, providing targeted support across a spectrum of challenges. The practice offers a dedicated space for clients to explore issues related to mental health, identity, sexuality, gender identity, relationships, trauma, domestic violence and other challenges experienced by the LGBTQIA+ community.

It emphasizes the importance of understanding the specific needs of each subgroup within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, recognising that individuals within the many communities within the LGBTQ+ community have unique experiences and challenges and are not one homogenous group. By recognising and addressing the unique experiences of individuals, the practice ensures a comprehensive and inclusive approach, allowing all clients to receive the understanding and specialised care they deserve.
